![]() The very next week on 10th March, the NASCAR event landed, with the Semi (alongside a limited wrap), NASCAR #75 and several other items including limited avatar accessories (separate to the game). The update was huge: it had 11,908 lines of code, the most for any Jailbreak update, hundreds of test sessions for the project had been in progress since late December of the previous year. The codes to unlock Crews were in such high demand, that the code system went down temporarily. These Crew Battles would be experienced 2 weeks before the update, in Jailbreak's first Public Beta, announced here, with the first testers entering the test-scene on 3rd March, alongside much of the update, including horns, new goal reward (EXP-1 rims), and 2 new suspension heights (Monster and Slammed). This would be confirmed on 28th February, with this tweet. Coupled together, these would get the community whirring about Crew battles and the possibilities. asimo leaked a blurred image on Twitter, on 25th February, alongside a public logo being published to the Badimo account. The March update aimed for 4th March, and the delayed feature from February aimed to release on 10th March, said by asimo here. March would be the month that updates finally started getting somewhere. Thankfully the next month easily made up for it. The month was probably of the least eventful ones and rather basic, but we can’t really blame the developers for that. The car would go down well, having a unique engine and drift effect, as well as an "extreme" speed. One week on, a bonus update would drop, featuring the Parisian EXP-1, for 720,000 available for 4 days. The main feature would be delayed until March, after the March update. The full update had been initially planned to land on the second week of February, however, due to asimo catching COVID-19 (and perhaps other reasons), only Season 14 and the Spring Map would drop on 11th February. ![]() Unfortunately, come February, unexpected events would change how February's update would go. The month was nothing special, but no more should be expected of a January update. The next big update was advertised for February, the update in question said to contain a " pretty big" feature. The small update, falling on the 13th January, would feature Darkest Blue, Darkest Green, Darkest Marine, Darkest Brown and Darkest Red, alongside a couple other features and fixes regarding a nicer working of the mansion and the new Magnet Spoiler reward. January, at first, was said to not likely have an update, then to perhaps have one, then was confirmed to finally have a small update. I don’t recommend reading it through entirely, but if there’s ever any particular update you want to look up I hope this post is useful for that. ![]() ![]() This post aims to recount the entirety of Jailbreak through 2023, month-by-month. 2023, for Jailbreak, was a year of refinement, with the developers considering the game feature-complete. ![]()
